Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM: Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology is a technology that transmits multiple wavelengths of optical signals simultaneously in one optical fiber. CWDM (Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexer) is a sparse wavelength multiplexer, also known as a coarse wavelength multiplexer; DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexer) is a dense wavelength multiplexer.

The wavelength channel space of CWDM is 20nm; the channel space of DWDM is 1.6/0.8/0.4 nm (200GHz/100 GHz/50 GHz), which is much smaller than CWDM. The difference in channel space also leads to the difference in the bandwidth and capacity that CWDM and DWDM can carry. DWDM modules increase system bandwidth and capacity by using close spaced wavelengths to carry more signals on the same fiber.

Packaged by steel tube (e.g. size 3.0x28mm or 3.2x16mm) and applied premium optical collimating and aligning skill that we can sustain good optical performance and reliaibility. Meanwhile, we can also provide multiport function device such as 5 fiber port or 6 fiber port device for efficiency module arragement design and cost-saving solution.
