Fiber Array
Browave’s Fiber Array can be composed by several of substrate material as Glass, Quartz or Silicon. The V-trench can be fulfilled by dicing machine or by substrate etching. The typical pitch tolerance is +/-0.5um and channel count can be up to 128ch.
In recent years the data center transceivers used a lot of Fiber arrays. Browave provided a lot of world wide tier 1 customer the Fiber Arrays , it also composed with various of optical elements, including the receptacles, lens arrays, free space isolator arrays,.. etc..
The fiber array used with the polarization maintenance fibers are also available.
Polarization-maintaining
Polarization-maintaining/PM connector is an optical connector application that polarization need to be maintained, widely applications including Fiber Optical Sensor, Interferometry, Planar Lightwave Circuit, Coherent optical transmission and long-distance bidirectional optical transmission systems.
Polarization-maintaining/PM fiber is a special type of single-mode fiber. Ordinary single-mode fibers transmits unpolarized light, and Polarization-maintaining/PM fiber can only transmits certain direction polarized light.
Free Space Isolator
Browave’s free space Isolator integrate with micro-optics parts(FA,receptable,Glass…) and leverage primium bonding and dicing technology in Taiwan to provide one-stop service for Isolator total solution. It apply to Isolate reflect light and noise for TOSA/ROSA or Laser application.
